BSc in Sociology, Sociology B.sc
BSc in sociology is a bachelor’s course of 3 years. Sociology basically deals with the society and covers all the aspects of society. The aim of this basic graduation course is to provide education to the young generation about the various aspects of the society. It also teaches the students about the various factors that affect the society. It also educates the students about the social issues and its effects on the society. The main aim of BSc in sociology study is to create awareness among the young generation about the social issues and its consequences.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility for doing BSc in sociology is that one should have passed the higher secondary exam from any of the recognized board. For doing BSc in sociology one should have a minimum age of 17 years. The admission in this three year program is dependent mainly on the higher secondary marks.
Course Outlook
The course duration for doing BSc in sociology is 3 years. These 3 years is divided into three parts. To be promoted for the next year one should have to pass in the main exam at the end of each year.
Job Prospects
This field is not much explored but then also many NGO’s (non governmental organization) in India are working in this field for its exploration. The students who are doing BSC in sociology have a very bright future in the upcoming time. They can even opt for marketing and management post in most of the companies.
