B.E/B.Tech degree holders in streams like Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and Information Technology eligible for campus placement in Mphasis. MCA graduates will also be considered. Campus selection procedure includes a Written Exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The written exam includes questions from areas like Logical Reasoning, Reading and Comprehension, Numerical Ability and other technical subject areas.

Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Mphasis

B.E/B.Tech qualified candidates in specific streams like Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics and Instrumentation and Information Technology are normally considered for campus selection. It is compulsory for candidates to obtain at least 60% marks in all semesters to apply for the same. Apart from this, MCA qualified candidates are also eligible. There should not be any active backlogs or supplementary papers for candidates at the time of placement process.

Campus Placement Process in Mphasis

Following are the main procedures included in the campus placement procedures in Mphasis –

  • Written Test

  • Personal Interview (HR and Technical type of interview)

The written examination mainly consist of 4 sections such as –

Section 1 – Reading Comprehension

  • Total number of questions – 2 passages -10 questions
  • Total marks -10 marks

Section 2 – Logical Reasoning

  • Total number of questions – 15 questions
  • Total marks -15 marks

Section 3 – Numerical Ability

  • Total number of questions – 15 questions
  • Total marks -15 marks

Section 4 – Technical subject questions

  • Total number of questions – 20 questions
  • Total marks -20 marks

It is essential for candidates to clear all the sections of written exam to be eligible for further stages of selection. Those who qualify written exam need to appear for a Group Discussion process. It is necessary for candidates to update their knowledge related to current topics to get through this section. A specific topic related to current affairs will be given to candidates and will be given around 5 minutes to note down their view points on the given topic. Candidates need to discuss about the given topic by expressing their personal views on that topic in an effective manner.

Those candidates who are able to clear the Group Discussion round will be given chance to attend Personal Interview. This selection part consists of technical round and HR round. The technical round will probably include subject related questions relating to their specific areas of study. Along with this, candidates will also be asked questions about their academic projects and the practical application sides of the same. The HR interview round will basically contain questions relating to the remuneration part, personal questions like family, hobbies, potential knowledge about company and the job profile applied for, job experiences, academic achievements and strengths & weaknesses. Qualifying both the rounds of personal interview will result in offer letter issuance.
