Chalapathi Institute of Technology is coming under the jurisdiction of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education located in New Delhi.

The primary objective of the college is to produce skillful engineers by providing high quality and complete education in the field of technology.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

For applying to the Bachelor of Technology course offered by the Chalapathi Institute of Technology, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent course with mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects. They must get qualified in the Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) in order to get admission for the B.Tech course in the college. Management seats are filled based on the rules of the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of AP & Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, (JNTU).

Infrastructure:

The Chalapathi Institute of Technology has excellent infrastructural facilities such as computer lab, library, seminar hall, transportation, hostel for girls and boys, sports, canteen, hobby club, and placement cell. The institute provides serene and ambience environment for learning. The hostel of the institute has fully furnished rooms that are hygienic, safe, secure, clean and airy. The institute also provides facilities such as clean drinking water, telephone/fax, Xerox and medical treatment are available in the same campus.
