Bachelor of Science in Nursing:

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Basic) degree is divided into four educational years and for obtaining completion certificate for this course, candidates must have a certificate of conduct, progress and attendance from the principal of the college and only on obtaining this certificate, candidates will be allowed to sit for the university examination. CMR College of Nursing is approved with an intake capacity of 60 students per year for this course.

Master of Science in Nursing:

The Master of Science in Nursing course extends to a period of two years and the objective of this course is to enable the students to develop their ability for practicing independently as nursing specialist, nurse administrator and as nurse educators. For getting into this course, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Post Certificate course in B. Sc Nursing from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or from any other university accepted as equivalent to this university and they must have obtained not less than 55% of aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, which is 50% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates should also possess one year of experience after completing their B. Sc Nursing course or at least one year of experience before or after Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course or Post Certificate in B. Sc Nursing course in a nursing educational institution or in a hospital as recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Apart from these, candidates should also be medically fit and they should be registered midwife or registered nurse in any State Nursing Council in India.

Placement and other facilities:

A full-fledged placement cell is functioning at CMR College of Nursing and many past students of the institution has so far been placed in different hospitals and nursing institutions as nurses, tutors, medical representative, etc… Even the institute offers other facilities like well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, etc…
