Chemistry Papers of COMEDK UGET is a vital and scoring paper with the help of which candidates seeking admission in B.E, M.B.B.S and BDS can score good marks. This paper is compulsory for all students appearing in this exam. Biology paper is for candidates going for M.B.B.S and the mathematics paper is for the candidates seeking to take admission in B.E or B. tech.

Qualification:

Candidates should complete their 10+2 under any recognized board or university of the country with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for those going for B.E and for students seeking admission in M.B.B.S will have the same criteria just biology replacing mathematics. English should be a compulsory subject and the candidates need to have the passing marks in English.

Score Calculation:

Candidates appearing need to mark their answers in an OMR sheet (optical mark reader) specially designed for the exam. One mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in this exam.

Mode of exam:

This is a paper pencil based exam (not online and computerized). Vital instructions are provided to the candidates in the examination hall in form of a booklet. Answers should be given on the answer sheet provided.

Paper Format and Time allotted:

For students seeking for admission in B.E there are two papers for them; i.e. Physics and chemistry (combined) and mathematics. There are 120 questions in physics and chemistry section (60 questions from each subject). Time allotted for this section is 2 hours. Mathematics contains 60 questions and time allotted for this section is one hour.

Candidates going for M.B.B.S will have the same paper of Physics and chemistry but the mathematics paper will be replaced with biology. The time will be the same that is 2 hours for the former set of paper and one hour for the later one.
