COMEDK examination is held every year to shortlist the candidates for the enrollment in the various under graduate engineering courses in the various institutes located in the state. As the future of the candidates is involved, it is a pretty important paper.

Importance of the paper

The various courses of engineering involve various concepts of physics. To be able to understand what is being taught at the engineering colleges it is very important for the candidates to be well versed with the various concepts of physics. Thus the candidates aspiring to study and make a future in engineering are tested on the basis of their understanding of the various physical phenomenon and concepts. The questions are very logical and conceptual. A clear understanding of these might take the candidates a long way.

Format

COMEDK is also a pen paper examination where candidates will be getting MCQ type questions where they will get some options for all the questions and they have to mark the correct answer.

Paper pattern

The paper has altogether 60 questions and all are compulsory. Equal weightage has been given to all the 60 questions.

Marks Allotted

Each question has been assigned only 1 mark. Hence the total marks assigned to COMEDK Physics paper is 60.

Is there any negative marking?

As far as negative marking is concerned, candidates can feel relaxed as this paper doesn’t have any negative marking and if a candidate marks any other option along with the correct one that question won’t be taken into considerations and will be treated as wrong attempt.
