Central Reserve Police force was established with the primary motive of keeping the states of crime free and provides a stable base in which justice and law can prevail properly. With this basic idea in mind, the police force was established and also to provide a healthy support to any situation in which the state police faces extreme assistance. Central Reserve Police Force was formed on July 27, 1939 under the Government of India. The primary role of the force is to assist the state territories in police operations to maintain law and order.

Job Profile:

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible Male/Female Indian Citizens for filling up the vacant position of Constable (Technical/Tradesman) in Central Reserve Police Force (Eastern Region). Only eligible Male/Female Indian Citizens, who are ordinarily resident of the states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, are invited to apply for the post. Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for the specified position in Central Reserve Police Force.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 1 August 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 23 years as on 1 August 2011.

Those candidates, who belongs to reserved categories, will get relaxation in the prescribed maximum age limit ste for the post. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for the OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

All candidates should have done Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university. This minimum educational qualification is need to be possessed by all interested candidates.

For the post of Constable (Driver): Besides Matriculation, candidates shoudl also possess Transport Vehcile driving license. Also, candidates must have passed the driving test.

For the post of Constable (Fitter): Besides Matriculation, candidates should also possess a certificate in Automobiles Fitter or Motor Mechanic from ITI or any other recognized institution with one year experience in the related field.

For the position of Constable in other trades, candidates must be proficient in the respecive trade.

Application Fee:

Rs. 50 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by the candidates. The application fee must be submitted in the form of a Indian Postal Order or duly crossed Demand Draft/ Banker’s cheque. No application fee is to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Ex-Serviceman candidates are also not required to pay any kind of application fee. The demand draft should be made in favour of concerned DIG, Group Centre, CRPF.

How to apply: Completely filled in application form in all respect and also in the prescribed format should be mailed alongwith the other required enclosures in an envelope only. The envelope should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for. The address to which the envelope should be sent on or before the last date for the reciept of application, is:
