Central Industrial Security Force was established on March 10, 1969 under the Government of India. It was established under an act of Parliament. The force comes under the federal Ministry of Home Affairs with its headquarter located at New Delhi. Initially, the force was started with a strength of just 2800. The force was made as an armed force of the Union of India by act of parliament that was passed on 15 June 1983. The major objective of the force is to provide consultancy services to the private industries.

Job Profile:

Central Industrial Security Force in making recuitment of eligible Male Indian Citizens for filling up the following temporary positions of Constables in the trade of Driver and Driver cum Pump Operator. All the posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the position at the time of final selection.

1. Recruitment of Drivers/Direct (Constable/Driver):

5. Recruitment of Driver cum Pump Operator/Deptt. (Constable/DCPO):

Educational Qualification:

All interested candidates must possess Matriculation from a recognized board for applying on any of the above specified posts. Candidates should also possess a valid driving licence for both heavy motor vehicle and light motor vehicle.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to submit a requisite application fee of Rs. 50 only. The application fee must be submitted in the form of a Postal Order drawn in favour of the Assistant Commandant of the respective zone. SC/ST/EX-SM candidates are exempted from paying this application fee.

How to apply: Only eli8gible candidates may apply in the prescribed perofrma. Application form dully filled in the prescribed performa may be sent to the concerned Zonal DIG alongwith the photocopies of all required certificates and a self addressed envelope (8*19cms size) with a postage stamp of Rs. 22 affixed on it. The envelope containing all the above specified documents should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE/DRIVER OR CONSTABLE/DCPO”.
