Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Commerce
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board are eligible to apply for this course. General category candidates are required to secure a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate and at least 60% marks in any of the below mentioned subjects.

Apart from this, applicants must have studied any five subjects listed above as well as English language in Higher Secondary course. Those who are belonging to Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in any of above mentioned subjects. For physically challenged candidates, the minimum marks required for qualification is 60%. Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
Admission Procedure for Master of Commerce
Those who have completed 3 years full time Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calcutta are eligible to apply. In addition to this, those who have completed graduation in commerce from other Universities are also eligible to apply. Such candidates are required to secure first class marks in qualifying examination. Admission is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination. Selected candidates are required to submit attested copies of the below mentioned documents.
- Mark sheet of last qualifying exam
- Document showing the date of birth
- Three copies of a recent passport size photograph
- Caste/ tribe certificate in original (only for S.C. /S.T. candidates)
- Registration/Migration Certificate
Admission Procedure for Master of Business Administration
Graduation in any discipline is the basic educational qualification. Minimum marks required for qualification is 55%. Final year candidates who await their results can also apply. Admission is carried out on the basis of scores obtained in Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), group discussion as well as personal interview.
