The Dayalbagh Educational Institute was established in the year 1915. The candidates can pursue postgraduate, under graduate, and Ph.D courses from the institute. Structure of Dayalbagh Educational Institute B.A/B.A (Social Science) Entrance Exam

The duration of B.A (Social Science) entrance exam is two hours. The written test will include 120 questions. The level of questions will be of Intermediate exam. The students must take about 60 seconds to complete each question.

Eligibility Criteria

The students who have completed 12th from DEI or equivalent examination in any subject are eligible to apply for the B.A in Social Science entrance exam. The selection list for the written list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in different pre-qualifying and qualifying exams. The final selection includes the following:

  • 20 marks for marks obtained at high school and intermediate levels
  • 60 marks for the marks obtained in the written test
  • 20 marks for the personal interview

How to Apply?

The students who wish to take admission to B.A in Social Science can download the application forms from the official website http://www.dei.ac.in. The students must use A-4 size with 70 GSM. Students can use higher density paper too. The students are advised to submit separate forms for each course. The students have to pay a processing fee of Rs. 225/- and a registration fee of Rs. 5/-.  The DD has to be drawn in favour of the Dayalbagh educational institute. The bank draft must be payable at any bank at Agra.

How to fill the Form?

First of all, go through the prospectus thoroughly. Then fill the application form with out making any errors. After completing the form, send the DD and the application to the concerned address. The student has to make sure that the completed form will reach the address before the last date. Before posting, write the name of the candidate on the back of DD and also take a Xerox copy of the filled application. The copy and DD can be used later.
