Deccan Grameena Bank (DGB) conducts an examination for the recruitment of officers and office assistants to its 200 branches spread over in the 5 districts of Andhra Pradesh. DCB, the regional rural bank (RRB) is sponsored by State Bank of Hyderabad & is jointly owned by Government of India & Goverment of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates will be selected purely on merit basis. DGB is looking forward for the applications from interested ones.

Structure of Deccan Grameena Bank Officers Exam

The exam consists of a written test and an interview. The written test is of objective type multiple choices pattern with five different options. It will have 4 sections each consisting of 50 questions. 2 marks will be rewarded for each correct answer and one third marks will be reduced for each wrong ones. The exam duration is 150mins.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Proficiency in Tamil language and basic knowledge certificates in computer will be beneficiary to the candidates. For office assistant post, the applicant should be a resident of A.P. For Officer MMG Scale-II, age limit should be in between 21-32yrs and that for Officer JMG Scale-I, it should be in between 18-28yrs.

How to Apply?

The applicant should pay an amount of Rs.250 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) for Office assistant and Rs.450 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) for Officer posts at any branch of State bank of Hyderabad on or before the second week of September. The challan for fee payment is available in the advertisement file at the bottom of the official website www.dgb.com. After payment online registration has to be done.

How to fill the Form?

The candidate must download the fee payment challan first, from the Bank’s official website and pay the fees at any of the branches of State Bank of Hyderabad from third week of August to second week of September. The applicants should have a valid personal email id to which the notifications of the exam has to be sent. The candidate should have a scanned copy of his/her recent photograph along with the signature before filling up the application form. Before filling the online application read the instruction given in the official website www.dgb.com. . Care should be given while filling the Branch Transaction Journal Number given in the challan form. The bank also provides a facility to modify the submitted application. The modification facility will be available till second week of September. While going for the exam the candidates should carry the challan form and their recent photograph along with them otherwise they won’t be allowed to attend the examination.
