DGB has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Officer JMG Scale-I and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Officer JMG Scale-I (Post Code -02 – Group A)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies 65, which is divided among the different categories as follows:

SC - 10

OBC – 17

General – 33

ST - 05

Out of the total 65 posts, 02 posts are reserved for PWD candidates.

Pay Scale: Officer JMG Scale- I will come under the pay brand of Rs.14500-600/7, 18700-700/2, 20100-800/7, 25700. Approximate monthly emoluments would be Rs.23098.

Eligibility Conditions:

Education: Candidates must be degree holders in any discipline and preference will be given to candidates with graduation in agriculture, accountancy, economics, horticulture, law, forestry, law, animal husbandry, management, veterinary science, information technology, agricultural engineering, agricultural marketing & co-operation and pisciculture. Additional qualification required are computer awareness and knowledge and proficiency to write, read and speak in local language Telugu.

Age Requirement: Age requirement for the position of Officer JMG Scale-I is between 18 and 28. Upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 13th of November 2011. Application fee:

The application fee to be paid by the general category candidates, which is inclusive of postal charges is Rs.450 and to be paid by SC/ST candidates is Rs.50, which indicates postal charges alone. The fee should be paid through Challan No.2, which is applicable for the post of Officer JMG Scale-I. The copy of challan can be obtained from http://www.dgbhyd.com/ and the amount should be credited to account no. 62197435548 and name of the account is Deccan Grameena Bank Recruitment Account and the candidates copy should be preserved for producing at the time of interview. The fee can be paid through any branch of State Bank of Hyderabad.

How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://www.dgbhyd.com/ between 23rd of August and 16th of September 2011. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be preserved by the candidates for future reference.
