Semester IV exam takes place at the end of the second year. It is important to clear these papers with a good score so as to meet the challenges of the third year. There is not much difference in the question paper pattern in this semester as well. All the papers are of 75 marks. The time given to the students to answer the questions is three hours. The time is sufficient to answer all the questions properly. All questions have to be answered on a compulsory basis.

There are a number of questions with internal choices. These choices need to be considered properly before discarding them. All questions carry equal marks. All the questions in the papers are form the syllabus itself so make sure to have a in depth knowledge of the concepts and application techniques from all the questions. All the questions in the paper are of subjective type. Make sure to go through previous year’s papers to gain a proper understanding of the instructions to be followed and the kind of questions likely to be asked in the exam. Make sure to write well with proper diagrams, equations etc.
