Centre for Development of Advanced Computing conducts recruitment through online test and personal interview. BE/ B.Tech degree with a minimum of 55 % marks is the basic educational qualification. Candidates are required to apply directly from the official website of CDAC Noida.

Eligibility Criterion

Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Technology / M. Sc from recognized university in relevant field or Branch are eligible to appear for the placement process in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Upper age limit for the candidates is 30 years at the time of application. Reserved category candidates can avail the relaxation in terms of marks and age as per the norms.

Selection Procedure

Selection to CDAC is conducted on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in screening test as well as in final interview. The screening test is usually conducted in online mode. There will be three papers in the screening test. Candidates can expect multiple choice objective type questions. Each section carries 30 questions. There will be questions from topics such as General Aptitude, Basic Computer Science and Basic Electronics. Candidates can expect degree level questions as well.

Application Procedure

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply for the examination through the official website of CDAC Noida. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-. Application fee can be paid through Net banking facility/ Credit card/ Debit card. Apart from this, candidates can pay the fees by taking a demand draft in favour of CDAC NOIDA”, from any nationalized bank, payable at Noida. After successful submission of online applications, candidates are required to take a print out of the system generated application and send it along with supporting documents and demand draft, to “Head (HR), C-DAC, Anusandhan Bhawan, C-56/1, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida  – 201307” by ordinary post within stipulated time.

Eligible candidates will be short listed and hall ticket will be sent to them for screening test. Candidates have the option to select the centre of examination while filling up the application form. The screening test is conducted in the month of May or June every year. Candidates who have cleared the screening test will be short listed for final interview. Final Selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidates in screening test as well as personal interview.
