Dev Bhomi Institute of Professional Education for Women came into existence with the objective of producing excellent professionals with human values. The college is located in the Tarai Region of the Kumaun hills in the city called Rudrapur. The college is offering teacher education course with affiliation from the Kumaun University.

Course Details:

Dev Bhomi Institute of Professional Education for Women offering secondary level Bachelor of Education course. The duration of the course is one year and it is a full-time course offered under face-to-face education. The proposed intake capacity of the college according to the approval of the affiliating university and National Council for Teacher Education is 100 students per year for the Bachelor of Education course.

Campus of the college:

The campus of the college is spread over an area of 1782 square mtrs and there are four classrooms in the campus. The building of the college is fire safety proof and disabled-friendly, the construction of the building was completed on the 19th of February 2009. The college has its own playground with facilities to play indoor and outdoor games. The college also has hostel, medical and canteen facilities in its own campus.

Library at the college:

The library at the college has a collection of nearly 3000 books and the reference section alone has a collection of 200 books. The library can accommodate 30 students at a time and it is subscribing for seven periodicals and journals.
