The course of M.Ed or Master of Education is a six to twelve months integrated post graduate program that is basically designed to provide a teaching certificate but with no application of thesis. Actually the course of M.Ed, provides the candidates, a master level degree in the teaching arena. The course teaches the candidates to affix a particular subject, still not in depth as the Masters degree, but the candidate is eligible to teach that subject to others. The course of M.Ed involves lots of method classes but does not undergo a language component.

Any candidates that have earned their Bachelor level degree from any discipline are eligible to undertake this course. The candidates have to at least earn a minimum of marks in their Bachelor level degree to undertake admission in this course. There are also different Entrance Exams, both held by the Government as well as Private Forum, to offer admission in this course.

The course of MAT or Masters in Teaching is a one year spanned, post graduate based course basically that offers an initial teaching certificate. The course provides a curriculum planning as well as instructional based designs that involve human development that provides specific subject based method course. The courses also involve professional development and competency course work. The course also offers integrated content as well as different aspect of teaching as well as learning.

The candidates that have earned their Bachelor Level Degree in any discipline are eligible to undertake this course. Still, the candidates have to earn a minimum passing mark in order to provide admission in the course. The course is dedicated to improvise expertise content that offers effective teaching strategies.
