Dr. Bhausaheb Nandurkar College of Engineering & Technology came into existence in the year 2007 and the college was established by the Satchikitsa Prasarak Mandal. The college was given this name in honor of a renowned social worker, educationist and patriot. The college is offering education with affiliation from the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.

Eligibility requirement:

For getting into the UG courses offered by the Dr. Bhausaheb Nandurkar College of Engineering & Technology, candidates must have completed their HSC from the state board of Maharashtra or other equivalent board with mathematics, chemistry, physics and English subjects. They must have secured not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks, which is 135  out of 300 marks for OBC candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra. For biomedical engineering alone, candidates must have studied biology as a subject at the higher secondary level.

Admission procedure:

In the case of candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra, they should appear for the MHT-CET examination and out of the total number of seats available for each branch of engineering, 65% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to the state of Maharashtra. For candidates belonging to other states, they should have taken up AIEEE examination and should have obtained a valid score. After admission of students, who have completed their higher secondary either from the state of Maharashtra or any other states, if still there are some seats, candidates who have completed their diploma in engineering in appropriate discipline from a recognized institution are admitted. These candidates must have obtained not less than 50% of marks in their diploma examination and should have completed this examination through English medium.

How to apply:

Candidates will have to submit the application form to the admission authorities notified by the Maharashtra Government on or before the last date of application. Other application rules are to be followed by the candidates as published by the Directorate of Technical Education of the state of Maharashtra from time to time.
