Recruitment of Executive Trainee in various departments in Gas Authority of India Limited will be done on the basis of GATE score of 2013. Those who have passed Engineering degree with 65% marks are eligible to apply. The upper age limit for application is 28 years at the time application. Candidates who clear the final interview will be placed in the department concerned. Such candidates can earn between Rs. 24,900 - 50,500/- per month along with other allowances such as HRA and Provident Fund.

Eligibility criterion for ‘Executive Trainee’ in GAIL

Candidates who have completed graduation in engineering subjects from UGC recognized Indian University or from AICTE approved institutions are eligible to apply. They should have secured at least 65% of marks in aggregate in qualifying exam. Candidates should have a valid GATE score card. Candidates who are in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Such candidates are required to submit final year mark sheet at the time of selection. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe require a minimum of first class marks so as to be eligible. Candidates who have completed integrated graduation of 5 years in relevant discipline are also eligible to apply.

Age Restrictions

Candidates who will complete more than 28 years as on 15th January 2013 are not eligible to apply for this post. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and who are domicile of Jammu and Kashmir can seek 5 years relaxation in upper age limit. Other Backward Class candidates who belong to Non Creamy layer and ex service men can seek 3 years relaxation in upper age limit. Candidates with disabilities have age relaxation up to 10 years.

Emoluments for ‘Executive Trainee’ in GAIL

Candidates who have got selection as Executive Trainee in various departments of GAIL can earn the basic pay of Rs. 24,900/- per month during one year training and probation period. Those who have successfully completed training and probation will be paid the pay scale of Rs. 24,900 - 50,500/- per month. Apart from this, candidates can avail other allowances such as variable dearness allowance and perks up to 50% of basic pay.

In addition to basic pay, candidates can earn variable pay, according to their performance as well as organizational performance. They are eligible to earn other benefits such as HRA, medical facility, group insurance, house building advance and Company Accommodation. Those who have completed minimum of 15 years of service can receive Post- Retirement Medical Benefits and Provident Fund.
