Bharat Electronics Limited was initially founded with the aim of meeting the specialised need of Indian Defence services.This state owned public enterprise was established in the year 1954 with its headquarter located at Bangalore. The company has about nine factories and few regional offices spreaded in the country. The company is owned by Government of India and has also earned the status of Navratna by Government of India. The major function of the company is to manufacture the electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. The company was established under the Ministry of Defence as a strategic electonics company. Job Profile:

Bharat Electronics Limited requires engineering professionalson the vacant positions of Engineer available in the discipines of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates will be recruited purely on contract basis for the Military Radars SBU of Bangalore Complex of Bharat Electronics Limited. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the post of Engineer. Initially, candidates will be recruited for a period of one year only (However, it can be extendable to 2-3 years based on the requirement of Project).

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to follow all the eligibility conditions set for the posts of Engineers in Bharat Electronics Limited. Candidates should have age more than the prescfibed minimum age limit but less than the prescribed maximum age limit. THe maximum age limit set for the post is 25 years as on 1 November 2011 i.e. candidates should have age less than the 25 years. Relaxation will be provided to the SC/ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have done B.E. or B.Tech in the concerned discipline from a recognized university. Candidates should have done their qualifying degree in the disciplines of Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering. Also, candidates should have passed the qualiying degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. All interested candidates must have acquired the specified minimum educational qualification or else their applications will not be considered by the company. Candidates must also possess minimum one year experience in the relevant field.

Engineer (Electronics & Communication Engineering): Only 12 posts are available.
Engineer (Mechanical Engineering): Only 3 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated amount of salary i.e. Rs. 12000 month.

Selection Process:

Selection Process for the posts of Engineers in Bharat Electronics Limited is comprises of both Written Examination and Interview test. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated to appear in the Interview test on the basis of their result in the Written Test.
