Bharat Electronics Limited was initially founded with the aim of meeting the specialised need of Indian Defence services.This state owned public enterprise was established in the year 1954 with its headquarter located at Bangalore. Job Profile:

Eligibility:

For general category candidates, the maximum age limit set is 25 years as on 1 April 2011. This upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the SC/ST candidates and also by 3 years for the OBC category candidates. PWD candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. For the EX-Serviceman candidates, the relaxation in upper age limit will be extended as per the guidelines of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have done Engineering degree from AICTE approved colleges with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Degree is need to be done in the streams of Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Telecommunication/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates, who are currently studying in the final semester or their degree course are also eligible for applying on the specified post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale-II i.e. Rs. 16400-3%-40500 per month. Candidates will also get DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Medical Reimbursement etc in addition to their prescribed amount of salary.

Application Fee:

A crossed demand draft of Rs. 500 is need to be submitted by the General and OBC categories candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 200 only. The application fee must be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of BHARAT ELECTRONIC LIMITED drawn on State Bank of India, payable at SBI, New Delhi.

Selection Process:

Selection will be made through written test and interview test. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview test on the basis of their performance in the written test. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to attend the written test at the respective centre.
