Biochemistry is a subject that deals with the chemical substances present in the biological species. In other words, biochemistry is the study of the chemical substances in the body of a living being. Basically, the study also includes the chemicals involved in the normal as well as abnormal metabolism of a living body. M.Sc in Biochemistry being a master’s level course studies all these factors in more detail. Thus the course requires a very high standard of teaching staff and teaching equipments.

The fee structure of this course generally lies in between RS. 6000 to 60000 per semester. The semester is a time period of 6 months. The famous institutes that offer this course are University of Delhi, Singhania University, University of Lucknow, University of Pune, University of Calcutta, and many more. The fee of this course in Singhania University is 60000 per semester. The fee of the course in Lucknow University is 6875 per semester. Dr. M.G.R Medical University charges Rs. 38,200 in the first year and Rs. 29,100 in 2nd and 3rd year. First year fee also includes admission fee, registration fee, library fee etc. The SD University’s fee is Rs. 21,000 per year plus 2500 admission fee and 1750 exam fees.

All the above mentioned names are renowned institutions. None of them provides special relaxation in the fees on the basis of the caste. However, poor students get benefitted with the privilege of relaxation in fe4es. Admission is done on the basis of caste and lower and backward caste gets special reservations.

    sir i m completing B.sc zoology.but i want to copletion my M.sc in Biochemistry. So pliz suggest me which is better to study M.sc either biochemistry or zoology?
    And lastly pliz tell me the fee structure of biochemistry of manipur university and pune univesity.
