Field Ammunition Depot was established under the Government of India. The depot is mainly responsible for function as a storepoint for the field ammunition. The major objective of the depot is to provide storage facility for the ammunition and explosives to the Indian military and other forces. The ammunition depots all around the world suffer from the fires and explosions. The depot is also considered as ammunition dump for being sites that store ammunitions. The depot also provides facilities to repair, inspect and manufacture the ammunition stored in it.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates on the following vacant positions of Fireman and Mazdoor in 23 Field Ammunition Depot. Interested candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for their desired position. Applications recieved from uneligible candidates, will not be considered by the 23 Field Ammunition Depot.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for both the posts is 18 years as on last date for the reciept of application.
The maximum age limit set for both the posts is 28 years as on last date for the reciept of application.

Candidates are required to fulfill this age criteria in order to be eligible for any of the two specified posts. Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India. Candidates should also be medically fit.

Educational Qualification:

Fireman: Candidates must possess atleast Matriculation as their educational qualification from a recognized board. Candidates should have acquired minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Mazdoor: Matriculation or equivalent is need to be possessed by the candidates as their minimum educational qualification from a recognized board. Candidates should have acquired minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

Fireman: only 4 posts are available.
Mazdoor: only 13 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Fireman: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
Mazdoor: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Selection Process:

Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the performance of the candidates in the personal interview test that will be held on a specified date with a selection committee. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview test after the initial screening of their application forms.
