What is the criteria for age relaxation in KPSC examination?
I am a 43 years old candidate and also a inmate in a recognised orphanage in Kerala. How much age relaxation is allowed for me by KPSC for writing examination?

The age criteria required to appear in KPSC examination is 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules :-
--> OBC :- 3 Years --> SC/ ST :- 5 Years Since, you have already crossed the maximum age limit required to appear in KPSC examination, you are not eligible to appear in KPSC examination. |

KPSC stands for Karnataka Public Service Commission.
Age criteria for KPSC exam :- The candidate age must be in between 21 years to 35 years. There will be age relaxation provided to candidate based on their categories: Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates, 3 years for other backward category candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow Candidates. Upper age limit will be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. |
