I am studying diploma in automobile engg . I would like to study aeronautical engg after completing diploma.so is it possible to take b-tech in aeronautical engg after completing diploma in automobile ? What is the eligibility criteria followed for the same?

No, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering after the completion of your Diploma in Automobile Engineering as you should have opted for Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering so as to pursue your B.Tech afterwards.

No, you are not eligible for Aeronautical Engineering course because you have completed diploma course in Automobile engineering.

Those candidates who have completed diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized university are eligible for B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.

I am extremely sorry to state that you cannot switch to Aeronautical Engineering after completion of Diploma in Automobile Engineering if planning for lateral entry scheme. This is because Aeronautical engineering and Automobile engineering are completely different fields and engineering colleges will not allow this kind of switching of branches through lateral entry. However, you can start freshly aeronautical engineering degree course and complete your B.Tech in the field of Aeronautical Engineering.
