Yes, for the recruitment of Assistant Station Master (ASM) in Indian Railways, the diploma course awarded by the Institute of Rail Transport, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi will be additional desirable qualification. The candidates with Degree from recognized university or equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport & Management, Transport Economics, Multimodal Transport awarded by the Institute of Rail Transport, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi will be additional desirable qualification. The above given are the eligibility for applying for the Assistant Station Master post in Indian Railways. The examinations are conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The candidates will be selected through written test followed by Aptitude Test and Document Verification.
