No, you are not eligible for IAS entrance exam after completing Diploma Engineering course. You need to complete B.E or B.Tech Engineering course to be eligible for IAS entrance exam. Graduation with any faculty students are eligible to apply for IAS entrance exam.

Educational Qualification:
Applicant must have to pass Bachelor degree in any stream from a well recognize University. Final year students are also eligible.

Age limit:
Applicants should be in between 21-30 years and relaxation is applicable for reserved category students.

IAS Exam pattern:

-Preliminary (Civil Service Aptitude Examination)
-The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type carrying a maximum of 400 marks.

No, you are not eligible for IAS exam because diploma degree holder candidates are not eligible for IAS exam.

IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service Examination. IAS is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam. Final year student are eligible for IAS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates

No, you cannot apply for IAS exam after completion of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Selection Procedure :-
The final selection of candidates will be done in two stages :-

Candidates who have qualified in Written test will be called for Personal Interview and candidates who perform well in this round will be finally selected for the post of IAS officers.
