Can I apply for IAS exam after Aircraft Maintenance Engineering?
Well actually i have completed my AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING Approved by DGCA , so can i apply for d IAS Exams.

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not sufficient for IAS exam. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum education requirement for IAS examination.
There is age limit for IAS examination which is 21 to 30 years for General category candidates. There is age relaxation for for reserved category candidates. 1. SC/ST : 5 years relaxation 2. OBC : 3 years relaxation 3. PWD : 10 years relaxation The selection will be based on the examination and you have to perform very well in the following stages. 1. CSAT 2. Mains Exam 3. No, you cannot apply for IAS exam after completion of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. To be eligible to appear for IAS examination, you must have completed graduation or equivalent from a recognised university. The IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year and the eligibility criteria required to appear for IAS exam is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must have completed graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline stream from a recognised university. 3. You must be within 21-30 years old. Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. Selection Procedure :- The final selection of candidates will be done in two stages :- 1. Written Test 2. Personal Interview In written test, there will be two levels, one is Preliminary examination and other is Main examination. Candidates who have qualified in Preliminary examination are eligible to appear for Main examination. Candidates who have qualified in Written test will be called for Personal Interview and candidates who perform well in this round will be finally selected for the post of IAS officers. |
