Re: Is there any difference between Aircraft Maintenance engineering and Aeronautical Engineering?
Aeronautical Engineer is holder of a professional engineering degree awarded by a recognised university. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is only a licence holder permitted to do maintenance work on a particular aircraft, till the time of validity of his licence. It is academically not equivalent to any diploma, degree or post graduation.

Re: Is there any difference between Aircraft Maintenance engineering and Aeronautical Engineering?
Aeronautical engineering deals with designing new aircrafts that are limited to earths atmosphere and deals with the concept , components and forces that affect the aircraft. For example aerodynamic , avionics , material science and propulsion.
Aircraft maintenance engineering deals with the repairing of these aircraft. |
