I have completed my 12th from Science stream. Can I do Diploma in Pharmacy course? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!

Yes it is possible to do Diploma in Pharmacy after completing 12th science.

The eligibility for Diploma in Pharmacy is
1. All the candidates must have completed 12th science from a recognised board.
2. You must have at least 50% marks in 12th to do the course.

The course duration is 2 years.

The syllabus of the course is

Part-I

1. Pharmaceutics-I
2. Pharmaceutical Chemistry-I
3. Pharmacognosy
4. Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology
5. Human Anatomy & Physiology
6. Health Education & Community Pharmacy

Part - II

1. Pharmaceutics-II
2. Pharmaceutical Chemistry-II
3. Pharmacology & Toxicology
4. Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence
5. Drug Store and Business Management
6. Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy

You need to pass class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology to become eligible for diploma in pharmacy admission. Admission will be based on the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the concerned university.

Hence, if you have the above mentioned qualification then be prepared for the entrance exam because seats are allotted through counselling.
