I want to know about the criteria to study Diploma certificate course after passing my 10th standard examination. Please reply with an immediate answer. Waiting for your kind reply.

To be eligible to pursue Diploma course, you must have passed 10th standard in all subjects with minimum aggregate of 40% marks from a recognised board. Some colleges offers direct admission in Diploma course on the basis of candidate's 10th standard board examination marks whereas some other colleges conducts an entrance examination for offering admission in Diploma course. Since, you have completed 10th standard from a recognised board, you are eligible to study Diploma course.

A candidate must have passed class 10th from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved categories to study diploma course in Polytechnic College. You have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the particular college to pursue the course. Age limit should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Diploma is three year duration course after 10th. Yes, you are eligible to pursue diploma after 10th.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to pursue Diploma course is that the candidate must have passed class examination from a recognized board of education.

The candidate has to appear for Polytechnic entrance examination conducted by the respective state government for admission to various diploma level courses.

The eligibility to study the Diploma course is a pass in 10th standard from a recognised board. In some states there will be an entrance examination for the admission. In some states like Tamil Nadu the admission to the course is based on the marks scored in the 10th standard. The duration of the course is 3 years. There is no age limit in Tamilnadu for diploma course. Please, find the attachment below;

Diploma course is equivalent to class 12th and it is a course of 3 years.
A student must have 10th passed with minimum 45% of marks in each subject. Mainly in science and mathematics.

A candidate minimum age should be 16 years and maximum age should be 25 years.
