Yes, 12th standard candidates are eligible for D.Pharmacy course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with PCM from a recognized board are eligible for diploma in Pharmacy.

Your age should be above 18 years.

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy course:

As far as my knowledge is concerned, you are not eligible to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy course with just 44% marks in 12th Class. The minimum educational qualification required to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy course is "12th Class" in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

The minimum percentage required in 12th Class is 50% marks and you must secure minimum 50% marks in each subject. As you have not met the required percentage criteria, you are not eligible to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy course.

You can get direct admission in D.Pharmacy course on basis of your 12th standard examination marks but, some colleges also conducts an entrance examination to offer admissions in D. Pharmacy course.

For admission in diploma in pharmacy you have the right qualification but most of the entrance exam have requirement of 50% marks in PCB stream. For reserved category there is 5% relaxation.
Hence, it will be difficult for you to apply for most of the entrance exam but only few will be available which don't have any percentage criteria of 50%.

Yes, you are eligible to study diploma in Pharmacy with a score of 44% in 12th standard. There is no problem in the eligibility of diploma course in Pharmacy with your percentage in 12th standard. This is because admission in diploma course in Pharmacy is done on the basis of score in 10th standard and also on the basis of rank in entrance exam. Thus, you are eligible for the course.
