Dear Friend,

First of all you need to clear that which CET exam you are talking about as every state organised it own exam for lateral entry students. Lets here we will talk about DCET exam that is held by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

Important Dates for KEA

1st week of April, 2015: Last date for submission of applications.

Last week of April, 2015: Availability of Admit Cards

1st week of May, 2015: Dates scheduled for Karnataka CET.

Last Week of May, 2015: Announcement of Results

These are the expected dates as confirmed dates are not announced yet by KEA. As generally KEA held the exam in the month of April and May.

Regarding the Syllabus so do not worry it will be related with your diploma course.

Now talking about the eligibility criteria for same. So in order to apply for CET exam you need to have diploma as a minimum qualification. And you must be Indian Citizen. And in order to get the application forms you can visit official website of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) anytime.
