Automobile is the most demanded and evergreen field.

There is no unemployment in the automobile field but the condition is that candidate must posses good practical knowledge.

So my suggestion to you is that you should study your course with full of your dedication and try to collect practical knowledge as much as you can.

One of the best way to earn practical knowledge is your summer internship.

My suggestion to you is that you should complete your summer internship from well recognized automobile company.

Being a diploma candidate you have several career options available for you. Some of them are given here:-

B.Tech:-
You have option to continue your study in BE/B.Tech course. Diploma holders are allowed to get admission in engineering college by using Lateral Entry Engineering Test LEET scheme. This entrance test is organized for all diploma holder's who are seeking for graduation in engineering courses. This test is conducted every year and candidate who passed diploma with minimum 55% of marks. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST category candidates. Admission in engineering college is directly proportional to marks score in LEET. If you score good marks then you will definitely get good engineering institution's unless not. After entrance test you need to compete in counseling to get a seat. As if a seat in counseling is allotted to you then simply go to college campus and claim your admission.

AMIE:-
AMIE is also a good option for diploma holder's. AMIE is equivalent to BE/B.Tech course in all aspects. The only difference between AMIE & BE/B.Tech is that AMIE is a correspondence course while BE/B.Tech is a regular course. You can join this course and try for a job along with your studies.

Advance Diploma:-
You can proceed for doing advance diploma in same trade. This option will enable various job opportunities for you. After advance diploma you can apply in reputed Multi National Companies (MNC's). Also they will give a good salary package to you if you selected there. They have their own selection process which you have to follow.

Job in Private Sector:-
You can try to get a job in private sector or in automobile companies like Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Ford etc. Such companies will offer various jobs for diploma holders. Thus you may get one of them.
