JELET is a joint entrance test which is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for candidates who wish to get direct admission in B.Tech second year through Lateral Entry process after completion of their three years Diploma course. Syllabus of JELET examination is same for all branches of Diploma holders.

JELET Syllabus for Engineering Candidates :-
The JELET examination questions will be set based on the prescribed Diploma syllabus of Tthe West Bengal State Council of Technical Education comprising of the following subjects mentioned below :-
(i) Engineering Mathematics
(ii) Electrical Technology
(iii) Computer Applications
(iv) Environmental Engineering
(v) Engineering Mechanics / Basic Engineering (for Printing)/ Soil & Water Engg. (for Agricultural Engg. only)
(vi) Strength of Materials/ Printers’ Materials Science. (for Printing)/ Farm Machinery and Power (for Agricultural Engg. only)
(vii) Food process and post Harvest Engg. (for Agricultural Engg. only)
