There are a number of medical colleges in India, which offer post graduate diploma in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. The candidates with MBBS degree from a recognized institute who have registered permanently with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Councils are eligible to apply for this course. Candidates are offered admission on the basis of marks obtained by them in entrance test, which may be conducted at the state or the national level. After successful completion of this course, one can become a part of a government or a private Hospital. PG Diploma (Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy) is a two-year post graduate diploma level course, during which one learns a lot of things about various techniques of this trade, such as ability of correct diagnosis of diseases, Dermatosurgery etc.
