I am Chandu Chauhan, I am appearing Diploma in Computer Engineering. What can I do after completing my Diploma? Please reply to me immediately.

After completion of your three years Diploma in Computer Science Engineering course, you can pursue your higher studies in B.E/B.Tech course. To get admission in B.E/B.Tech course, you must have to appear in Lateral Entry examinations like LEET/ECET/JELET examinations conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.

Advantages of doing B.Tech degree:

• You will directly get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech degree,so your 4 years Engineering degree will get reduced to 3 years.
• You will gain a good knowledge in your field,since you have completed your Diploma in Computer Engineering,so a degree in Computer Engineering will add as an icing on the cake.
• B.tech holders are more preferred for job as compared to Diploma holders.
• B.tech degree will help you in getting a handsome salary package.

After completion of diploma in computer engineering you are eligible for B.Tech by lateral entry by giving LEET entrance exam conducted by various institute.
