Can I get admission to study B.Tech(Aeronautical Engineering) being a Computer Engineering Diploma student?


Guys,
I'm now studying Computer Engineering Diploma course. But I am so interested to take a B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. Some people says that anyone can do B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering after completing of their Diploma course. Is it true? Can I get admission to Aeronautical Engineering B.Tech course after completing my Diploma course?

No, after completion of diploma in CSE you can not get admission in B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. But you can do B.E/B.Tech in CSE through lateral entry exam.

The eligibility qualification for the lateral entry exam:-

(i)Passed diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy with above 60% marks.

(ii)Passed Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject with above 60% marks.

(iii)Your age should be above 17 years.
