No, Diploma in Electronics is not equivalent to B.Sc Electronics degree. Because, B.Sc degree is a Bachelor's degree that can be obtained after completion of three years study after completion of your 12th standard and Diploma degree can be obtained after completion of three years study after completion of 10th standard. So, we can say that B.Sc Electronics degree is not equivalent to Diploma in Electronics.

Assistant Loco Pilot exam is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

The eligibility criteria for Assistant loco pilot exam is given below-

Eligible ITI departments are Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic/Mill Wright or Maintenance Mechanic/Mechanic Radio & TV/Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Wireman/Tractor Mechanic/Armature & Coil Winder/Mechanic Diesel/Heat Engine/Turner/Machinist/Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.

Eligible Diploma departments are Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation provided for reserved category candidates.

Topics for Assistant loco pilot exam are Technical, Non Technical, General English, General Awareness, Arithmetic's, Reasoning.

Assistant Loco Pilot post exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board under Ministry of Railways. To Apply for Assistant Loco Pilot, You must have completed Matriculation (OR) equivalent under 10+2 system & Complete Act Apprentice (OR) ITI recognized by SCVT / NCVT (OR) Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical // Electronics / Automobile Engineering recognized by AICTE (OR) Higher Qualification.
