Can I apply for Education Loan being a BTech 1st year student?
Respected Sir, I am studying BTech with Electrical and Electronics Engineering 1st year. Now my family is in financial crisis and can't afford to pay my semester fees. So, can I apply for an Education Loan now to complete my BTech course?

Yes, you can apply for an education loan being a B.Tech 1st year student. Candidates who have secured admission to higher education course in a recognised college/ university are eligible to apply for an education loan. So, if you have secured admission to B.Tech course in a recognised college/ university, you are eligible to apply for an education loan. The maximum amount offered under education loan for pursuing higher studies in India is Rs. 10 lakhs.
