Hello Sir, I came to know that Oriental Bank of Commerce is providing an education loan for vocational courses. I would like to know about the courses which are eligible for getting an education loan in Oriental Bank of Commerce. Please tell me asap.

There is no eligibility criteria for courses to take an educational loan from any bank.

The course should be such that after completing the course, you become able to repay the loan to the bank.

If you are in one such course, the bank would happily extend the loan facility to you.

In order to be eligible for loan , candidate must be an Indian resident.

Student must be in age bracket defined by bank

All education loan must have co applicant usually students parent or guardian and co applicant must have regular income to repay the loan.

Must have confirmed admission to the Academic institution.

Guarantor needs to have a good credit history.

Eligibility for Loan:-

1 - An Indian national.

2 - Meritorious Student.

3 - Secured admission to a higher education course in an institute recognised by a statutory body in India or abroad through entrance test/merit based selection process after completion of HSC ( 12th or equivalent ).

Amount of loan:-

Up to Rs 10 Lacs for studies in India

Up yo Rs. 20 Lacs for studies in abroad.
