How to get MBBS 1st year scholarship? I just joined the college and started the studies now? Is there any way I can get scholarships to pay my MBBS 1st year fees? Can someone let me know the procedure which we need to follow?

Yes, there are scholarships available for the candidates who are pursuing MBBS first year.

* Central sector scheme (CSS) scholarship which is offered by MHRD to pursue the higher studies for all eligible and meritorious candidates.

* To avail this scholarship the candidate must have passed class 12 examination with a minimum aggregate of 80% marks. The rate of the scholarship is Rs.1000/- per month for the under graduate studies.
