Is it necessary to have an account in Karnataka Bank to apply for an Education Loan for BTech aspirant?

Hello, I want to study BTech and for this I need to apply an education loan. My friend has an account in Karnataka Bank but I don’t. However we both want to apply an education loan in this bank. So, for me, Karnataka Bank will provide an education loan? Or is it necessary to have an account in this Bank for applying an education loan?

Having an account in the concerned bank will not have any impact on your credibility to take an education loan. Even if you don't have an account, you can open it easily within few minutes by providing documents.

They will ask for your bank statements of your salary account to make sure the guarantor is earning enough to support the education loan.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
