Son of a government employee can get exemption in Education Loan?


Friends,
My dad is PSI in Maharashtra Police and he will be my guarantor for taking Education Loan which I want to take for doing B.Tech course. I want to know that as my father has a Government service so I can get any exemption in
Bank Education Loan?

No, there is no exemption in interest of education loan if your father is in government service. Exemptions or subsidies are given to the senior citizens and employees of the concerned bank from which loan is being issued. However, you should consult the concerned bank's branch manager to see if there is any provision of subsidy for you as per their internal policies.
