You can do CA course after 12th by giving entrance test.Just like the common entrance tests for engineering and medical courses, for charted accountant course there is Common Proficiency Test (CPT) which has to be passed.

The advantage of getting directly into the CA course after your +2 (higher secondary pass) is that the years are being saved in addition to maximum practical experiences.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) regulates the enrollment and certification of CA’s in India. After completion of the CA program, aspirants can seek for jobs in big corporate houses and hi-tech companies.

Apply for the chartered accountancy course after 12th

Candidates who have finished their class 10 can apply for the Competency Professional Test (CPT). But, it is only possible for them to write the examination after finishing their class 12. There are no age or mark restrictions in particular.

CA is better choice for this days and also future. Our MNC companies and also government sectors requires more than 2 lakhs of Charted accountants.

CA stands for Charted Accountancy. It was introced by the institute of Charted Accountants India.

It contain mainly 3 phases
CPT- Common Proficiency test
PCE - Professional Competency Exam
and Final exam
The CPT exam is held twice in a year MAY and NOVEMBER. It is basic entrance foe CA.

To pursue CA after completing 12th you will have register for entrance exam that is

CPT (Common Proficiency Test) it will conducted twice in a year in the month of

June and December by ICAI

After the CPT you will qualify for next level that is

IPCC (Integreated Proficiency competancy course)

it has Two groups like Group-I and Group-II

and the last level is

Final CA exams


After the IPCC you will have to go for Articled training for 31/2 years under gazatted CA officers

Steps for Become a Chartered Accountant

Talking in brief about becoming a CA in India
1 Satisfy the eligibility criteria (i.e. Schooling should be complete)

2 Clear your CPT

3 After 9 months clear your IPCC

4 Complete 3 years of articles and clear your CA Final.

This is how you can become a CA in India, taking around 4.5 years on whole.

To enroll yourself for CA after 12th you have to give CA entrance exam i.e CPT (common proficiency test). The syllabus of Cpt is almost same as that of 11th nd 12th which include subject such as quantative aptitude,
mercantile law, accounts, economics etc. So register yourself for CPT first. After passing CPT you will be eligible for IPCC nd finals.

Anybody who has passed 10+2 from a recognized institute can register for the course.

**CA is the Chartered Accountant (CA)**

**You have to apply for CPT after 10th.

**For CA ,you have to qualify CPT (Common Proficiency Test).

**A student is eligible to register for the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) after 10th Standard, but can appear at the examination only after appearing in the 10 + 2 examinations.

**Graduate student is not valid for reg. of CPT.

Eligibility Criteria: There is no mention about minimum % in 10th class .

You have to register with the board of studies of ICAI and submit all your documents after which you can have a full fledged preparation and attend your exam that's all.

(i) Foundation Course Route

Under Foundation Course Route:-

*Register yourself for Foundation Course by filling Online Registration Form available on www.icai.org in “Course Registration Forms” under “Students tab”after appearing in class 12th examination.
*One who registered on or before 30th June/31st December can eligible for the examination to be held in the month of November/May respectively.
*There are 4 Papers in the Foundation Course (100 marks each).A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation examination, if he obtain at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers.
*Registration fees for Foundation Programme is Rs.9800.
*After Qualify Foundation exam student can register for Intermediate Course. .
*After Qualify Intermediate exam student can register for final Course and then after qualify final level course student become CA. .
