Dear sir,
I had appeared for manipal online test on 9th may 2011. I managed to secure 75/240. Can i get admission in manipal???

Sorry dear but you can not expect anything from Manipal.

75 out of 240 in ENAT is almost nothing to get into Manipal, either Engineering or Medical.

Generally candidates having minimum 120 are called for first councelling. Even tough counselling goes for 4 - 5 rounds scorers less then 100 doesn't get chance for councselling.

75 out of 240 I can guess if you rank will be around 16,000 which is of no use. Yeah if things was like that you had 110 marks and 16,000 rank then quite possibilitiest were there. But now nothing can be done.

Better next time or if you have apeared for any other entrance then there is nothing to worry about if anyone of them was gone good for you, both in terms of marks and ranking.

If you had appeared in ENAT for engineering and also in AIEEE then there is nothing to worry, because even a all indian rank of 40,000 can fetch you a seat in Manipal Institute of Technology. If you are scoring within 15,000 All India Rank then you can expect freeship also. But these are only possible if you have alternately appeared AIEEE also.

I am very sorry to say that you will not be eligible for manipal universities engg or medical dept.
75 out of 240 is nothing to get a chance in manipal,atleast 50-60% marks are required.
So dont warry,try another college or universities...

Sorry, at this score i think that your rank between 18,000 to 30,000.
So you can not take admission in Manipal at this rank. Generally any
candidates having score above 120 are calling for the 1st counselling.
Even tough counselling goes for 4-5 rounds candidate having less then
100 score will not get any chance for admission in Manipal University.

Don't worry if you given any other entrance exam then like AIEEE, WBJEE,
and many other state engineering entrance exam then i think that you
can get a good college if you get a good score in the entrance exam.

hi!
Your marks is very low so you can't get admission in that college..
You not get admissions in top engineering college.
You can take admissions in low ranking college in your state..
But if you want you can try next time and score good rank and
after that you can get admissions in top college.

The cut off marks in the manipal ENAT exam usually is about 100-105. All those who obtain marks above 110 are virtually safe to get admission in manipal university. Though getting the branch of one's choice with 110-120 marks are less.

For all those who have obtained marks in the range of 100-110 are right on the borderline of making the cut in the merit list for admission.

However, there is no scope of getting admission under 100 marks in the manipal university for any B.Tech course.

If any of you have any more quesries, you may ask without hesitation.

Hello there!

No, you may not get admission in sikkim manipal institute of technology after scoring 85 marks in manipal online entrance test. The cut off is mostly above 100 for the lower grade courses(textile, manufacturing, bio related courses) and much higher(above 110) for core courses such as mechanical, civil etc.

Well with 116 marks i believe you can expect courses such as:

• Civil engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• chemical engineering
• biotechnology
• B.Pharma
• Biomedical engineering
• electrical engineering

However, getting admission into courses such as Computer science, electronics is doubtful but will depend on the number of people who turn up for counselling this year.

Oh thank you sir,but can you also tell me if i can get core engineering in mechanical and electrical with 116 marks, and i want to know your personal suggestion about how mit is in view of studies and placements as there is a distinct talk about mit being not so good and some say it is a very good college.
