You score is more than 200+ means you will definitely get a seat from nit.

i am ranked 21636 in aieee and this is my all india sc category rank .can i get good nit collage. please tell me.................

DEAR FRIEND:-
REQUIREMENT OF AIEEE RANK IN NIT IS DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORY STUDENT.
if you are general category student, then to take admission in nit , your rank must be equal to 22,000.
but if you are a sc/st candidate then if your rank is about to one lac. then no problem.
for obc or non creamy student it is may be about to 50,000.

but , if it is for PH STUDENT , then if your rank is about 1,50000 then also you can get admission in nit.

FIRST OF ALL IF........you are a general category student.
then i will say you can not get a college like nit, because in nit rank requirement is very less. this is about 22,000

but if a sc/ st student then i say you have to try in nit,
also if you are a ph student , you may check in nit...

otherwise no need to try in nit.

with this rank you can get a other best college like pec , pu (punjab university) which are highly demanded by student in punjab.
you can also try in your best state colleges

as you got 130 marks in aieee. this means your rank on my estimation will be about 50,000

as your state rank will be good , mainly it is about 1800.

then their is a state quota. means their is a reserved seats for state student.

so i will say you can get admission in nit , hamirpur

if you are a sc/st candidate then you can easily get admission in it.

even if do not able to get admission in it, then try in other best colleges

Q:- In AIEEE 2011 i have got a state rank of 445 and an overall rank of 10895 under general category in B.Arch stream.Is there any chance of getting admission in NIT calicut???

I THINK your rank is very good. your state rank is enough to get admission in your nearby college.
there is a special reservation for the sc/st candidate in nit.
for sc /st candidate their is a requirement of rank is about 50,000-60,000
for ph candidate it is about 1,50,000

but as you say you are a general candidate, no reservation is there.
but you will get admission there.

Minimum marks required to get admission in NIT through AIEEE

NITs college take admission through AIEEE examination. If you are

appear in the AIEEE exam and if you get the rank upto 18,000 then i

think that you can get a chance to take admission in the NIT college.

There are limited seat available in the NIT and a large number of

aspirants appear in the AIEEE exam so competition becomes really hard.

The cut off for AIEEE keeps changing every year.
But if your rank is within 20,000 ,then your selection is sure.

So according to my approximation, you should try to score above 200 in aieee.
But if you are aiming of top branches like CS/EE/Mech , then try to score above 250.
Also if a particular NIT belong to your home state , then you will get 50% reservation in that.
