The career of an Air Hostess is a very promising option with the vision of smart,efficient lady in mind.Many younger girls opt. this career because of the exciting experience of flying,visiting different places,interacting with differrent kinds of people on board and for the very attractive pay package.

The Eligibility for an Air Hostess training programming is plus two/or a graduate degree with a diploma/degree in hotel management or tourism management.The candidate must be able to hold an Indian passport and must be below 25 years of age with a minimum height of 157.5 cms.The weight should be in proportion to height.Further one must be unmarried with a normal eye sight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in each eye.Fluency in English,Hindi and knowledge of an international language is an added advantage.

The applicant must be physically fit with a pleasing personality and fair complexion.After the initial screening of applicants is completed the air line company calls them for a written examination,usually of the objective type.Those who qualify for the written examination must attend the group discussion followed by an interview of successful candidates.If selected you will be on training for two to three months in which time you learn about service,grooming,safety and first aid after which you are initially put on trainee flights.The training covers several topics each of which cover technical and non technical aspects of the aircraft.Beginning with the history of aviation the candidates are made to learn In-flight service,Passenger handling,passenger psychology,service of the meals on the aircraft,the art of conversation,transactional analysis,personal grooming and hygiene,first aid,confidence building,handling of visually impaired passengers,Making announcements,Emergency demonstration etc.

1.Proficient english speaking.
2.A great height.

After this you can join the air hostess training academies like the FRANKFINN air hostess academy.
