Dear friend.
Good to see that you have a keen interest in the Indian defence services.

National Defence Academy exam is a national level exam conducted by the Union Public Service commission twice a year for the entry in to the Indian defence services namely: Air force, Navy and the Army wing of the Indian defence services.

To be eligible for the exam you have to fulfill the following eligibility details:
*you have to be a male unmarried candidate
*You have to be 16.5 to 19 years of age
*You have to be a 12th passed or appearing candidate with atleast 60% marks in aggragate and must have passed separately in a language subject
->you have to be a science stream with mathematics as one of the subjects passed to be eligible for the air force and the navy wing of the exam
->You have to be a 12th passed in any stream to be eligible for the army wing of the exam

so that means you can only join the air force only if you had maths in your 12th along with the science stream

Syllabus:
The NDA written exam comprises of 2 papers of objective type.

*The first exam is of Mathematics:This exam will consist of questions on fundamental mathematics like Arithmetic’s, Geometry, various theorems, statistics, graphs and more

*The second exam is General Ability Test:This is again divided into two parts. The first part is of English and the second part is General Knowledge. This part is divided into 6. The topics included in this part are:

*Chemistry
*Current Events
*General Science
*Geography
*History
*Physics

Each question carry 4 marks each. Paper I will carry 300 Marks and Paper II will carry 600 marks (English – 200 marks and General Ability – 400 marks). This exam will have a time period of 2-1/2 hours each.

The 2nd paper of the NDA exam, which is the General Ability Test, will be broken into 6 parts. The allocated marks are:
Physics – 100 marks.
Chemistry – 60 marks.
General section – 40 marks.
History, Freedom Movement – 80 marks.
Geography – 80 marks.
Current Events – 40 marks.
For every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of 1/3rd points.

*the age should be in between 16.5-19years..

If you are pursuing your graduation then you can apply for Indian Air Force through CDS exam...
The eligibility criteria for CDS exam-
*One must have complete the graduation in any branch..
*the age should be in between 19-27years...
YOU can do it.

there are many ways to go in IAF , but criteria differ for male and female candidate ..
If u r male u can apply after 12th in NDA
for females .. they have to be graduate

Friend after passing 12th you can join Indian Air Force.
But for Indian Air Force you have to pass 11th and 12th with physics and maths.

For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy exam.

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

You can apply both online and offline.
You can't apply this year because last date of submission of form is over.

If you want you can apply next year.

In order to join Indian air force after 12th standard ,you should have 10+2 science qualification with physics and maths.

After completing your 10+2 with physics and maths ,you can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).This exam is conducted twice a year in al major cities through India.
Advertisement for the exam is released by UPSC in March and October every year.
Age requirement is between 16.5 to 19 years.
You need to be an Indian.
Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible.

You can get the application forms for this exam in the designated post offices all over India.

Have good preparation for this exam and crack it.
