You can Indian Air Force by giving Combined Defence Service examination i.e CDSE. CDSE is conducted bu Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC twice in year as CDS(I) & CDS(II).


Eligibility condition's to appear in this Exam:

You should have completed Bachelor's degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level examination ) Or Engineering degree from a recognized University.

Final year candidates may also eligible to apply for CDS exam . There is no restriction on minimum percentage of marks.


Your Age should be in between 19 to 23 years & there is no relaxation for any category categories candidates.

-Date of Notification :- 02.06.12
-Last date for receipt of application :- 02.07.12

If you want to join in Indian airforce after graduation you have to apply CDS examination.

CDS(COMBINE OFFENCE SERVICE) exam is conducted by the UPSC.

Eligibility criteria:

One should have to complete graduation from a recognised university.

Age limits is 19years to 23years.

Finab year candidates are also eligible for this exam.

You should be a citizen of india.

Selection procedure:
Writte test,
Interview,
Medical test.

How to apply:

Information regarding Scheduled Test is advertised in the leading National Dailies and Rozgar Samachar/Employment New as and when the schedule is announced.

Information regarding Recruitment Rallies is published in prominent local news papers as and when they are planned in certain areas.
Recruitment Rallies are meant for selection of candidates from a particular geographical location only. Hence, one is required to be domicile of that area.

Subjects and syllabus for each stream are given in the OFFICIAL website.

AGE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CRITERIA to be AIRMEN

Group 'X': 17 - 22 Years :
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.
OR
Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Eligible trades:Technical Trades

Group 'Y' : 17 -22 Years :
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational courses conducted by CBSE and Kerala Board recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) only are eligible.
Eligible trades: All Group 'Y' Trades (Except Musician Trade)

Group 'Z' : 17-25 Years :
Passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boards, should be between 17-25 years of age and should be proficient in playing at least one musical instrument of the following:
Trumpet /Bass/ Violin/ Saxophone/ Clarinet/ Euphonium /Jass-Drum/ Piccolo/Bass Trombone/ Key Board/ Guitar/ Sarod/ Viola/ Cello/ Contra Bass (String Bass).
Eligible trades: Musician Trade


To be in the National Defence Academy
You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

How to apply:

You start by sending your application.

Watch out for the advertisement inviting applications in the leading newspapers and the Employment News.
After you spot the relevant ad, you send your application in the format mentioned in the advertisement, before the last date of receiving of application.


Eligibility Criteria
To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements:

Age
16 to 19 years At the time of commencement of training.

This is applicable only to men.

Educational Qualifications
You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final year students can also apply.
For Army wing:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with 60% marks.

For Navy:-
The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , chemistry , mathematics with 60% marks.

For Air force:-

You have'nt tell us our current qualification,
.

However ,If you want to serve the Indian navy & air force,.

If your aspiring to apply For Indian Airforce after Completing B.sc Course then you may apply for , Indian Airforce Pilot Examination (or) CDS ( Combined Defence Service ) Examination .

Yes, You are Eligible to Join Indian Defence
Indian Defence Includes Three
1.Indian Army
2.Indian navy
3.Indian Air force

For Joining Indian defence you have two ways:-
1.CDS-Combined Defence Service
2.AFCAT-Air force Common Admission Test


CDS:-
CDS Examination will held two times a year by The Union Public Service commission.

For Graduates there are two ways through which they can join Indian Air Force.

-CDS Examination

If you have completed Graduation then you can apply for CDS examination .

The age limit for Air Force Academy is 19 to 23 years.

The selection procedure will involve a Objective Type Paper , SSB Interview and Medical Examination.

Hence if you are willing to join Air Force through CDS then make sure you are below 23 years and well prepared for the examination.

-AFCAT :

Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted for Flying Branch , Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch .

The age limit for AFCAT is 19 to 25 years .

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appwear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The Indian Air Force can also be joined through AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) - The eligible candidate should have completed Graduation with 60% marks within the age of 20 to 28 years to become an officer in Flying /Technical/Ground Duty branch of Air Force.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 to 25 years

Pay Scale: Rs.9300 Rs.34800/- per month.

Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT is by far the biggest exam conducted for entry into the IAF. Candidates after appearing for the written test has to undergo (AFSB)SSB . The written test is same for all the candidates irrespective of the Branch Applied i.e. Flying, Technical or Ground Duties. Age should be between 19-23 Years and aspiring candidates has to be Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) and should scored Minimum 60% in all papers put together. For technical entry, both Male/Female candidates should be between 18-28 Years and have acquired four year degree qualification from a recognized University.
