I have got 166 marks and ranked 23078 overall and 917 state in aieee 2011. Can I get admission in Computer Science, Civil or IT in BIT, Mesra,RAnchi or civil, computer science, mechanical, electronics and electrical communication etc. in NIT, Jamshedpur.

Sorry friend , But you cannot get BIT MESRA RANCHI whit that score . As you know the admission is made through CCb online , and the cutoff for that institute goes around 10000.
so, you cannot be admitted using AIEEE marks. But there is provision of admission through management quota . If you can afford required fee for management seat then you can get admission to that institute.

no you can not get mechanical or even any branche in bit mesra. i would like to inform you that bit mesra does not have any seat for obc quota.the only way to join BIT mesra is through good rank in AIEEE.

you can join BIT MESRA.infact you can get any branch except mechanical and computer science..

Hi friend

I am very sorry to say that you cant get BITS mesra for a rank like that.
Usually BITS mesra admits students with an AIR less than 60,000 for students of OP/OBC category.

Even for SC/ST students the rank should be under 1.5 lacs.

And
AIEEE is the only way to enter BITS Mesra
However for Pilani , Hyderabad ,Goa campus
a separate exam is conducted.
It is BITSAT

As per your rank in AIEEE, sorry to say that there are very less chances to take admission in BIT, meshra.
If you are eligible for central counseling of AIEEE then you can try in 3rd counseling of AIEEE. other wise you have no chance to take admission in BIT, meshra in this year.

& As you does not belong to Jharkhand, then you have only one option to take admission in BIT,Meshra is through AIEEE only.

So, i suggest you to appear in AIEEE next year with full preparation so that you may take admission in BIT,meshra.

approximately your all india rank must be below 18000

the eligibility of BIT Mesra Mechanical through AIEEE is given below

1.12th with science with PCM combination.

2.minimum 80% marks in class 12th exam.

3.age limit 25 years.
