Re: Required AIEEE Ranks for NIT?
Yes there is a great chance for your son to get an NIT. With this rank he can get into top NITs with ok branch and can get into top branches in middle ranked NITs. However its tough to predict since 10 new more NITs have come up and so counseling prediction can go wrong. wait for counseling

Re: Required AIEEE Ranks for NIT?
i have a doubt, please clarify as soon as possible guys.
AP's my home state, and for me to get admission in NIT warangal, will they look ONLY at my state rank or ALSO at my AIR? Because my AIR is not great, but my state rank is very good. so, what are my chances? for NIT warangal ONLY, not anywhere else! thanks in advance |

But dont worry try hard for AIEEE next coming year or you can even give CET a try. However you can get admission in many colleges on the basis of management quota but i dont recommend that. |

Re: Required AIEEE Ranks for NIT?
hi friend.
Evey student will get two ranks, one is All India Rank or the AIR and another is the State Rank for your specific state. There are two counseling levels, one is All India Counseling (which will be completed first), followed by the State Counseling which usually starts just after the All India Counseling. Students with higher AIR will be given a chance to select some seats based on preference in the All India Counseling. You will get an intimation if you are selected for the All India or Central Counseling. You can refer a tool like this one to check what college you may get based on the AIR. Fill the choices accordingly and you should be just fine. Please note that the All India counseling seat allocation is stricly based on the merit and preferences provided by the students. If you do not get a better college through the All India Counseling, then there is yet another (and in fact even better) counseling called the State Counseling for the state specific seats. The state counseling is based on your state rank and it has nothing to do with your AIR. This is the good part and this means, even if you get an AIR of 65,000, if your state rank is good (good depends on how much seat quota your state has), you have high chances of getting into a top college like the NIT’s or the National Institutes of Technology. For the state counseling, you need to check with the AIEEE team and the state counseling team. If you are selected for the state counseling, you can fill in your choices of colleges during the state counseling. The seat allocation is strictly based on your state rank, state quota and the preference submitted by the students. This is different for different state. For some states there are only few seat quotas while for some states there are huge number of seat quotas in the NIT’s. Please check with your respective statecounseling team for more details on the same. |

Re: Required AIEEE Ranks for NIT?
HI!
Among the NITs NIT, Wrangal is the best & you have must have a fairly high ranking in AIEEE in order to secure a seat in it. An all India rank of up to 2000 will surely help you in getting a seat in NIT, Wrangal. For getting admission in other NITs you have to secure 12000 or above rank in AIEEE |
